Sonnax 36946-02K Diesel-Ratio Boost Valve Kit for Ford C6 Transmission

The Sonnax 36946-02K is a diesel-ratio boost valve kit designed to restore proper line rise in Ford C6 transmissions used in heavy-duty vehicles. This kit addresses common problems such as erratic shift timing, reverse shudder, and direct clutch failure caused by poor line rise.

Problem Solved:

Excess wear at the inside diameter of the boost sleeve allows oil to leak past the boost valve to exhaust, resulting in poor or no line rise. The outside diameter of the boost sleeve may also allow leakage through the valve body, resulting in insufficient line rise.

Key Features:

• Increased line pressure boost (diesel ratio) recommended for all heavy-duty applications
• Sleeve manufactured from highly wear-resistant aluminum with hardcoat anodized aluminum valve to combat premature wear
• Includes O-rings to provide additional protection against both cross leakage and oil exhausting through the valve body bore
• Restores hydraulic integrity of the boost circuit

Kit Contents:

• Boost valve, sleeve, and 4 O-rings

This diesel-ratio kit is specifically engineered for heavy-duty Ford C6 transmission applications where increased line pressure is required. For standard gas-ratio applications, consider Sonnax kits 36946-01K or 36946-04K.
