ACDelco 40009452 GM Genuine Parts HVAC Heater Control Valve Engine Coolant Flow Valve

The ACDelco 40009452 is a GM Genuine Parts HVAC Heater Control Valve (also identified as a Engine Coolant Flow Valve Assembly) designed to regulate the flow of hot engine coolant through the vehicle's heater core. As a critical component of your GM vehicle's climate control system, this valve opens and closes to manage cabin heat delivery based on temperature settings and A/C activation.

When maximum air conditioning is selected, the valve closes to prevent hot coolant from entering the heater core, maximizing cooling efficiency. When heat is required, the valve opens to allow coolant circulation through the heater core for effective cabin heating.
