Rheem-Ruud RCHZ2417STANVU 2-Ton Uncased Evaporator Coil with TXV

The Rheem-Ruud RCHZ2417STANVU is a 2-ton replacement service evaporator coil designed for vertical air handler installations using R-410A refrigerant. This uncased aluminum coil features an N-Coil design that maximizes performance while minimizing installation height requirements, making it ideal for space-conscious HVAC applications.

Key Features:

• 24,000 BTU/h nominal cooling capacity for reliable performance
• Aluminum fins bonded to internally grooved aluminum tubing for enhanced heat transfer
• Includes TXV (thermostatic expansion valve) metering device for precise refrigerant control
• Designed for 17.5-inch cabinet width applications
• 3/8-inch liquid and 3/4-inch suction copper sweat refrigerant connections
• Two sets of 3/4-inch NPT condensate drain connections for installation flexibility
• High-grade, heat-resistant, corrosion-free thermal-set drain pan material
• Factory-tested with extensive refrigerant leak check for quality assurance
• UL-listed for safety and regulatory compliance

This uncased coil is suitable for vertical installations only and directly replaces the RCH-2417STAVUA model. For horizontal applications, use the RXHH-A02 horizontal adapter kit if original water management components are unavailable. The N-Coil configuration and bi-directional airflow design ensure optimal performance when paired with compatible Rheem outdoor condensing units.
