The Genuine VW/Audi 251611021C Brake Master Cylinder is a critical component of your vehicle's hydraulic braking system, designed to deliver reliable stopping power and safety. This OEM-quality master cylinder generates the hydraulic pressure needed to activate your brakes, ensuring consistent and responsive braking performance.

Key Features:

• Genuine OEM part engineered to meet factory specifications
• Designed for Volkswagen Vanagon and Transporter models with power brake servo systems
• Includes two brake light switches pre-installed for warning light equipped vehicles
• Compatible with non-ABS braking systems
• Direct replacement for proper fit and function

Signs of Master Cylinder Failure:

• Spongy or soft brake pedal feel
• Brake pedal gradually sinking to the floor when depressed
• Visible brake fluid leaks around the master cylinder
• Reduced braking effectiveness

When installing this master cylinder, it is essential to properly bleed the entire brake hydraulic system to remove all air. Air in the hydraulic system is compressible, which can make the braking system unresponsive and unsafe. Always use fresh brake fluid during installation and follow proper bleeding procedures for optimal performance.
