GPD 1813624 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813624 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor is a direct-fit replacement brake pad wear indicator designed to monitor brake pad thickness and alert the driver when pads have worn to a level requiring replacement. When the brake pad wears down to the sensor's contact point, it triggers a dashboard warning light, allowing for timely brake service before rotor damage or brake failure occurs.

Key Features:

• Direct-Fit Replacement: Engineered to match original equipment specifications for straightforward, hassle-free installation
• Early Warning System: Monitors brake pad wear and activates the vehicle's brake warning light when replacement is needed
• Electronic Sensor Design: Functions as a resistor connected to the vehicle's computer module for reliable, accurate wear detection
• Spring-Clip Retention: Mounts securely to the brake pad with a spring-clip interface that holds the sensor in contact with the rotor surface
• Safety-Focused: Helps prevent brake system failures by providing advance notice before pads wear to a dangerous level

The GPD 1813624 brake wear sensor is manufactured by Global Parts Distributors (GPD), a trusted supplier of automotive replacement components. Replacing the wear sensor at every brake pad service interval is recommended to ensure continued accuracy and reliable warning performance.
