GPD 1813581 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813581 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor (also known as a brake wear indicator or brake pad sensor) designed to replace the original equipment sensor on compatible vehicles. This sensor monitors brake pad thickness and triggers a dashboard warning light when the pads have worn to their minimum safe limit, alerting the driver that pad replacement is needed.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement — engineered to match the OE connector, mounting, and wiring for straightforward installation
• Early wear alert — signals the driver before brake pads reach a critically low level, helping prevent rotor damage and brake system failures
• Quality construction — built to withstand the heat, vibration, and corrosion typical of the brake environment
• OE-style design — maintains compatibility with the vehicle's existing brake warning system

Replacing a worn or damaged brake pad wear sensor restores the proper function of the brake wear warning system and ensures you receive accurate, timely alerts. The GPD 1813581 is manufactured by Global Parts Distributors (GPD), a supplier of automotive replacement parts across brake, HVAC, and drivetrain categories.
