GPD 1813576 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813576 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor (also commonly called a brake wear indicator or brake pad sensor) designed to monitor brake pad lining thickness and alert the driver when pads have worn to the replacement threshold.

GPD (Global Parts Distributors) engineers this sensor to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, ensuring a precise plug-and-play fit with no modification required. When the brake pad lining wears down to the minimum safe level, the sensor contacts the rotor and triggers a warning light on the dashboard, prompting timely pad replacement before rotor damage or brake system failure can occur.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement — engineered to match OE connector and mounting dimensions
• Triggers dashboard warning light at minimum brake pad thickness threshold
• Helps prevent rotor scoring and brake system failure caused by worn pads
• Durable construction designed to withstand heat, vibration, and road debris
• Manufactured by GPD (Global Parts Distributors) to OE-equivalent standards

Replace the brake pad wear sensor whenever installing new brake pads to ensure accurate monitoring through the full life of the new pads. A faulty or missing wear sensor can prevent the warning system from functioning correctly, compromising brake maintenance intervals.
