GPD 1813573 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813573 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor (also known as a brake wear indicator or brake pad sensor) designed to replace the original equipment sensor in compatible vehicles. When brake pads wear down to the minimum safe thickness, this electronic sensor signals the vehicle's onboard computer, triggering a dashboard warning light to alert the driver that brake pad replacement is required.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement — engineered to match OEM specifications for straightforward, no-modification installation
• Electronic wear detection — connects to the vehicle's brake monitoring circuit and triggers a dash warning light when pads reach the wear limit
• Durable construction — built to withstand the heat, vibration, and moisture found in the brake environment
• OEM-style connector — features the correct plug and wire harness configuration for a secure, reliable connection to the factory wiring
• One-year warranty — backed by GPD's standard limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

GPD (Global Parts Distributors) is a recognized supplier of automotive thermal and brake system components. The 1813573 wear sensor should be replaced at each brake pad service interval to ensure accurate pad wear detection and continued braking system reliability.
