GPD 1813497 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813497 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor designed to monitor brake pad lining thickness and alert the driver when replacement is needed. As part of Global Parts Distributors' brake safety lineup, this wear sensor integrates seamlessly with the vehicle's braking system electronics to provide reliable, timely warnings before brake pads reach a critically low level.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit design for straightforward installation with no modifications required
• Monitors brake pad wear and triggers a dashboard warning light when pads are worn to the minimum safe thickness
• Constructed to maintain consistent electrical contact with the brake system's control module
• Replaces the original worn sensor at each brake pad service interval
• Built to meet or exceed OEM fit, form, and function standards

Brake pad wear sensors should always be replaced along with the brake pads themselves, as the sensor is consumed during normal pad wear. Replacing the GPD 1813497 wear sensor during a brake service ensures the warning system continues to function accurately and keeps the vehicle's braking safety system fully operational.
