GPD 1813430 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813430 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor designed to replace a worn or damaged original equipment sensor. Also commonly referred to as a brake wear indicator or brake pad wear indicator, this sensor monitors the thickness of the brake pad lining and alerts the driver via the instrument cluster warning light when pads have worn to a replacement threshold.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement engineered to match OE sensor geometry and connector configuration
• Activates the brake pad wear warning light when pads reach minimum safe thickness
• Manufactured by GPD (Global Parts Distributors) to meet or exceed original equipment standards
• Designed for straightforward installation with no modification required

Replacing a faulty or spent brake pad wear sensor restores proper brake monitoring function and ensures the vehicle's warning system will alert the driver in time to prevent rotor damage. As a single-use component, the sensor should be replaced alongside every brake pad service on equipped vehicles.
