GPD 1813417 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813417 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor designed to monitor brake pad thickness and alert the driver when pads have worn to a replacement threshold. GPD (Global Parts Distributors) brake wear sensors serve as a reliable aftermarket replacement, restoring proper function to your vehicle's brake pad wear warning system.

How It Works:

The sensor is mounted to the brake pad and maintains contact with the brake rotor surface as the pads wear. When pad material wears down to the critical minimum level, the sensor triggers a dashboard warning light, signaling the driver that brake pad replacement is required before rotor or caliper damage can occur.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement — designed for precise OE-style fit and installation
• Triggers brake pad wear warning light when pads reach minimum safe thickness
• Helps prevent brake system damage caused by metal-on-metal contact
• Manufactured to match original equipment specifications for form, fit, and function
• Should be replaced alongside brake pads during every pad service

Important: Brake pad wear sensors are a single-use component and must be replaced each time new brake pads are installed. Reusing a worn or triggered sensor may result in false warnings or no warning at all.
