GPD 1813412 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813412 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor designed to monitor brake pad thickness and alert the driver when pads have worn to the replacement threshold. This brake wear sensor, also commonly referred to as a brake pad sensor or brake wear indicator, integrates with the vehicle's onboard warning system to illuminate a dashboard warning light before the brake pads reach a critically low level.

Key Features:

• Direct-Fit Design – Engineered as a precise drop-in replacement for the original sensor, requiring no modification for installation
• Electronic Warning System Integration – Connects to the vehicle's brake warning circuit to trigger a dashboard indicator light when pad wear reaches the service limit
• Durable Construction – Built to withstand the heat, vibration, and debris exposure common in the brake environment
• Single Sensor – Sold individually; replace alongside new brake pads for optimal performance
• OEM-Style Fit – Matches original equipment specifications for reliable fit and function

Brake pad wear sensors should always be replaced at the same time as the brake pads, as the sensor is consumed during normal pad wear. The GPD 1813412 provides a straightforward, cost-effective solution to restore proper brake wear monitoring and maintain braking system safety.
