Universal Air Conditioner EX10721C A/C Expansion Valve

The Universal Air Conditioner (UAC) EX10721C is a direct-fit aftermarket A/C expansion valve (also known as a thermostatic expansion valve or TXV) engineered to restore proper refrigerant flow and cooling performance to your vehicle's air conditioning system.

What It Does:

The expansion valve is a critical component in the automotive A/C system. It precisely meters the flow of liquid refrigerant into the evaporator core, causing the refrigerant to expand and drop in pressure — a process that absorbs heat and produces cold air inside the cabin. A worn or failed expansion valve can cause symptoms such as weak cooling, icing of the evaporator, or inconsistent cabin temperatures.

Key Features:

• OEM-Quality Fit: Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for a reliable, drop-in replacement
• Precision Machined Ports: Ensures an exact, leak-free connection to the A/C system
• Optimal Refrigerant Flow: Meticulously designed to deliver proper refrigerant metering to the evaporator for maximum cooling efficiency
• Durable Construction: Built from quality materials to provide long-lasting, dependable service life
• ISO/TS 16949 Quality Standard: Manufactured under stringent quality assurance protocols

UAC was founded in 1988 with a focus on aftermarket automotive air conditioning components. As part of a complete A/C service job, the expansion valve should be replaced alongside the compressor, condenser, accumulator/drier, and all seals and O-rings to ensure system integrity and protect the new components.
