GPD 1814499 HVAC Heater Core Temperature Sensor

The GPD 1814499 is a replacement HVAC Heater Core Temperature Sensor designed to restore proper climate control function. This sensor monitors heater core temperature and relays that data to the vehicle's engine control module (ECM), which uses the signal to regulate the HVAC system's heating and cooling operation. On modern vehicles, the ECM uses this feedback to manage compressor cycling, while on older systems the sensor may directly control compressor shutoff to prevent damage.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement for the original heater core temperature sensor
• Provides accurate temperature feedback to the vehicle's ECM for proper HVAC operation
• Helps prevent compressor failure by ensuring correct system shutoff signals
• Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Backed by GPD's one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

GPD is a trusted supplier of automotive thermal and HVAC components. Replacing a faulty heater core temperature sensor can resolve issues such as inconsistent cabin heating, erratic A/C compressor cycling, or HVAC-related warning indicators. This sensor is sold individually and is a straightforward replacement for restoring reliable climate control performance.
