GPD 1815423 Engine Oil Pressure Switch Direct Fit OE Replacement

The GPD 1815423 is a direct-fit OE-replacement engine oil pressure switch engineered by Global Parts Distributors (GPD) to restore proper communication between the engine lubrication system and the vehicle's engine management system. This switch monitors oil pressure levels and sends real-time feedback to the ECM, helping prevent engine damage caused by low oil pressure conditions.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit OE-style replacement for fast, hassle-free installation
• Provides accurate oil pressure feedback to the engine control module (ECM)
• Helps protect the engine by triggering warnings or shutdowns under low oil pressure conditions
• Built to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for reliable, long-term performance
• Manufactured by GPD (Global Parts Distributors), a trusted name in automotive thermal and engine management components since 1974

GPD subjects its pressure switches to rigorous voltage and amp testing to ensure each unit meets strict quality and durability standards before leaving the factory. Replacing a failing oil pressure switch promptly helps prevent inaccurate readings to the ECM, which can lead to improper system responses and potential engine damage.
