GPD 1815014 Ignition Knock Sensor Direct Fit Replacement

The GPD 1815014 is a direct-fit replacement ignition knock sensor, also known as a detonation sensor, engineered to OE fit, form, and function specifications. Designed as a drop-in replacement for the original factory sensor, it restores proper engine management communication without modification.

The knock sensor monitors engine vibrations and detects abnormal combustion events such as pre-ignition and detonation. When the sensor identifies these conditions, it signals the engine control module (ECM) to adjust ignition timing, protecting the engine from damage and maintaining optimal performance and fuel efficiency.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement — no modifications required
• Engineered to meet or exceed OE fit, form, and function
• Detects engine knock, pre-ignition, and detonation events
• Signals the ECM to retard ignition timing as needed
• Manufactured by GPD (Global Parts Distributors), a trusted supplier of premium automotive components
• Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

The GPD 1815014 knock sensor is a reliable, professional-quality replacement that helps protect your engine and restore factory-level performance. Sold individually.
