GPD 1814951 Ignition Knock Sensor

The GPD 1814951 is a direct-fit replacement ignition knock sensor, also known as a detonation sensor, designed to restore proper engine management function. The knock sensor monitors the engine block for abnormal vibrations associated with pre-ignition (engine knock or ping) and sends a signal to the ECU to adjust ignition timing accordingly, protecting the engine from damage and maintaining optimal efficiency.

Key Features:

• Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment (OE) fit, form, and function
• 100% tested for durability and reliable performance prior to leaving the factory
• Direct-fit replacement — no modifications required for installation
• Constructed from premium materials for long-lasting service life
• Backed by GPD's 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

GPD, also known as Global Parts Distributors, has been a trusted supplier of quality automotive parts since 1974. The 1814951 knock sensor helps the engine control module (ECM) prevent detonation, reduce engine knock, and maintain fuel efficiency by continuously monitoring combustion vibrations and adjusting spark timing as needed.
