URO 11657601058 Turbocharger Cut-Off Valve

The URO 11657601058 is an electric turbocharger cut-off valve designed as a cost-effective replacement for BMW OEM part number 11657601058. This valve plays a critical role in protecting the turbocharger system by preventing compressor surge when boost pressure is present but airflow has been disrupted.

Key Features:

• Electric solenoid-operated turbocharger cut-off valve with integrated O-ring
• Prevents compressor surge by stopping the turbo from spinning backwards
• 12V operation with 2-pin electrical connector
• Manufactured by Pierburg (OEM supplier) and rebranded by URO Parts
• Direct replacement for BMW OEM 11657601058
• Durable plastic construction designed to OEM specifications

Function and Performance:

This turbocharger cut-off valve operates as a diverter bypass valve that releases excess boost pressure when the throttle is closed or during gear shifts. When functioning properly, it protects the turbocharger from damaging reverse-spin conditions and maintains optimal boost control. A faulty cut-off valve can cause underboost fault codes, reduced engine performance, boost leaks, and delayed throttle response.
