About GPD (Global Parts Distributors):

GPD began as Auto Air of Macon in 1974 and has grown into one of the most knowledgeable and dependable sources for aftermarket automotive air conditioning parts in the United States. GPD offers one of the most complete aftermarket A/C and heat exchange programs in the market, covering heavy-duty applications as well as late-model cars and trucks.

For a complete and successful A/C repair, it is recommended to flush the system and replace related components such as the expansion valve or orifice tube and the receiver drier or accumulator to prevent old contaminants from damaging the new compressor.
