gpd 1812458 Engine Crankshaft Position Sensor with Blade Terminal

The gpd 1812458 is a direct-replacement crankshaft and camshaft position sensor engineered to deliver accurate readings to the engine control module (ECM). Crankshaft and cam position sensors are critical engine management components — they monitor crankshaft rotational speed and position so the ECM can precisely control ignition timing, fuel injection, and other essential engine parameters. A faulty or failing sensor can cause hard starts, misfires, stalling, or a lit check-engine light, making a quality replacement important for restoring proper engine operation.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement design meets all original equipment specifications
• Engineered to send accurate signals to the ECM for precise fuel, ignition, and timing control
• Square female connector with 2 blade-style male terminals for a secure, OE-style connection
• Supports reliable performance across fuel, exhaust, timing, and cooling system management functions

This sensor fits select 2001–2012 Ford, Mazda, and Mercury models. Designed as a plug-and-play replacement, it installs using the existing wiring harness connector with no modification required.
