GPD 1811886 Ignition Knock Sensor

The GPD 1811886 is a direct-fit replacement ignition knock sensor engineered to restore proper engine management function. GPD (Global Parts Distributors) is a well-established supplier of quality automotive components, and this knock sensor is built to meet or exceed original equipment (OE) fit, form, and function.

What It Does:

The knock sensor is mounted on the engine block, cylinder head, or intake manifold, where it monitors engine vibrations. It detects abnormal vibrations associated with engine pre-ignition (knock or ping) and sends a signal to the engine control module (ECM), which adjusts ignition timing to prevent engine damage.

Key Features:

• Designed to meet or exceed OE specifications for reliable, accurate performance
• 100% tested for durability and consistent signal output
• Direct-fit replacement — no modifications required
• Premium materials for long service life
• Helps restore proper ignition timing control and fuel efficiency
• Backed by GPD's 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

A failing knock sensor can trigger a check engine light, cause poor fuel economy, rough engine operation, and leave the engine vulnerable to damaging detonation. The GPD 1811886 is a cost-effective solution to restore full engine management performance.
