GPD 1811539 Engine Variable Valve Timing VVT Solenoid

The GPD 1811539 is a replacement Engine Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoid, also commonly referred to as a VVT oil control valve. This solenoid is a critical component of the engine's variable valve timing system, responsible for regulating oil flow to the VVT mechanism to control camshaft timing.

Key Features:

• Designed to meet or exceed OE fit, form, and function
• 100% tested for durability and performance prior to leaving the factory
• Leak tested to ensure reliable, long-term operation
• Includes installation hardware and seals where applicable
• Direct-fit replacement for straightforward installation

The VVT solenoid works by directing pressurized engine oil to the cam phaser assembly, which adjusts camshaft position relative to engine speed and load. This optimizes valve timing for improved engine performance, fuel efficiency, and reduced emissions. Proper solenoid function is essential to prevent rough idle, loss of power, and check engine light codes associated with VVT system faults.
