GPD 1811527 Variable Valve Timing VVT Solenoid

The GPD 1811527 is a replacement Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoid, also commonly referred to as a VVT oil control valve or cam phaser solenoid. This solenoid is a critical component in engines equipped with variable valve timing technology, working to regulate oil pressure flow to the camshaft phaser assembly to optimize engine performance and efficiency.

How It Works:

The VVT solenoid is controlled by the engine's ECU, which sends an electrical signal to open or close the valve and direct pressurized oil to the VVT system. By adjusting camshaft timing on the fly, the system can balance power output, fuel economy, and emissions across a wide range of operating conditions.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit OE replacement design for straightforward installation
• Restores proper camshaft timing control and engine performance
• Manufactured by GPD (Global Parts Distributors) to meet original equipment specifications
• Helps resolve symptoms such as rough idle, poor fuel economy, reduced power, and Check Engine light related to VVT system faults
• Compatible with engines utilizing variable valve timing (VVT) technology

A failing VVT solenoid can trigger diagnostic trouble codes, cause engine hesitation, and lead to increased wear on timing components if left unaddressed. The GPD 1811527 provides a reliable, cost-effective solution to restore proper VVT system operation.
