Nissens 999397 A/C Expansion Valve

The Nissens 999397 A/C Expansion Valve is a precision-engineered thermal expansion valve (TXV) designed to control refrigerant flow in automotive air conditioning systems. As one of the major control components of the AC loop, this valve serves as a precise metering device that regulates the amount of refrigerant released into the evaporator while separating the high-pressure and low-pressure sides of the system.

Key Features:

• Developed to Nissens' high quality standards with comprehensive testing and validation
• Includes mounting hardware and O-rings for proper installation
• Thoroughly tested output pressure and opening characteristics ensure stable valve function
• Specially designed sensing element with precise charge formula for optimal system operation
• Maintains required superheat condition within the evaporator for optimal AC performance
• Ensures proper AC compressor lubrication and prevents failures related to slugging, overheating, or lubrication issues

This expansion valve features appropriate materials and thorough finish quality, with inner tightness and cleanliness among its critical qualities. The valve's sensing element behavior is precisely calibrated to match OE specifications across various temperatures, ensuring the AC system's optimal thermal performance and proper refrigerant balance. Designed for reliable, long-term operation and first-time-right installation.
