Standard Motor Products ETS242 Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor

The Standard Motor Products ETS242 is a direct-fit exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor engineered as an OE replacement for precise monitoring of exhaust system temperatures. Accurate exhaust gas temperature readings are critical for protecting turbochargers, diesel particulate filters (DPF), and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems, as well as maintaining proper engine management and emissions compliance.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit OE replacement — no modifications required for installation
• Monitors exhaust gas temperature to protect downstream emissions and forced induction components
• Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for accuracy and durability
• Built to withstand the extreme heat and vibration conditions of the exhaust environment
• Supports proper operation of DPF regeneration cycles, turbocharger protection systems, and engine control modules
• Part of Standard Motor Products' Intermotor line — a trusted name in OE-quality sensor replacements

The ETS242 is produced by Standard Motor Products, one of the largest independent manufacturers of automotive replacement parts in North America, with a long-standing reputation for quality control and engineering precision across their complete sensor and emissions product lines.
