Standard Motor Products ETS131 Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor

The Standard Motor Products ETS131 Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor is a direct-fit OE replacement sensor designed to monitor exhaust gas temperatures and relay critical data to the engine control unit (ECU). This sensor plays a vital role in protecting your engine from overheating, optimizing emissions control, and managing fuel consumption for improved efficiency.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit OE replacement ensures proper fit, form, and function for trouble-free installation
• Monitors exhaust gas temperature to prevent engine damage from over-temperature conditions
• Supports emissions control and fuel/air ratio optimization
• Helps test the operation of after-treatment components including DPF and catalytic converter systems
• Manufactured to stringent quality standards at ISO-certified facilities
• Premium components and durable materials withstand harsh engine conditions for extended lifespan

EGT sensors are essential for modern engines with advanced emissions systems. The sensor detects temperature increases in the exhaust stream and signals the ECU to take corrective action, such as adjusting fuel injection or reducing boost pressure in turbocharged applications. Replacing a faulty EGT sensor prevents issues like increased fuel consumption, check engine lights, emissions test failures, and potential component damage. Standard Motor Products delivers reliable, high-quality sensor solutions backed by over 100 years of automotive aftermarket expertise.
