Dunlop 45252460 American Elite 2 (AE2) Rear Motorcycle Tire

The Dunlop American Elite 2 (AE2) is a premium cruiser and touring motorcycle rear tire engineered for exceptional mileage, stability, and all-weather performance. Building on the legacy of the original American Elite, the AE2 features Dunlop's advanced Multi-Tread (MT) compound technology, which uses a harder compound in the center for long tread life and softer compounds on the shoulders for enhanced grip during cornering.

Key Features:

• Multi-Tread (MT) Compound: Dual-compound construction delivers a balance of long-lasting center wear and confident shoulder grip
• Steel Belt Construction: Provides superior high-speed stability and precise handling characteristics
• Enhanced Wet Performance: Optimized tread pattern channels water efficiently for reliable wet-weather traction
• Cruiser & Touring Optimized: Designed specifically for heavyweight American-style cruisers and touring motorcycles
• Bias-Ply Construction: Offers the compliant, comfortable ride quality preferred by cruiser riders
• DOT Compliant: Meets all applicable U.S. Department of Transportation safety standards

The Dunlop AE2 is the ideal choice for riders who demand long-distance durability without sacrificing cornering confidence or wet-road safety. It is a direct successor to the widely trusted American Elite line and is a popular OEM and aftermarket fitment for many Harley-Davidson and other heavyweight cruiser platforms.
