The Melling 46697 is a high performance dual valve spring with damper, engineered specifically for GM LS engine builds demanding reliable valve control and increased lift capability. Manufactured at Melling's dedicated valve spring facility in the UK, each spring is built to exacting tolerances for demanding performance applications.

These springs feature a double shot peen finish — a proprietary stress-relief and surface treatment process that reduces residual stress and extends spring fatigue life under high-RPM conditions. The dual-spring-with-damper design provides precise valve control and helps suppress harmonic bounce at elevated engine speeds.
