Michelin 77210 Double Rivet 650/700-20 Classic Bias Ply Tire

The Michelin 77210 Double Rivet is a classic tire in size 650/700-20, distributed exclusively in North America by Coker Tire Company as part of the Michelin Classic tire collection. This wired-on crossply (bias ply) tire design arrived in 1925, featuring a tread pattern that first appeared with the first generation of automobile tires and was retained for the first tires with bead wires.

Historic Tread Design:

The "Double Rivet" name refers to a tread pattern that was truly revolutionary at the time and also served as the inspiration for the first radial tires. This design replaced beaded-edge tires but eliminated the high inflation pressures and reliability issues of its predecessors.
