Wiseco W6174 High-Pressure Steel Laminate Head Gasket

The Wiseco W6174 is a high-performance head gasket engineered for demanding engine builds. Constructed using a high-pressure steel laminate design, this gasket is built to withstand the extreme shear forces that occur at the interface between an aluminum cylinder head and an iron engine block — a common failure point in high-output applications.

Internal embossments within the gasket expand under heat, creating an increasingly tighter seal as combustion pressures and temperatures rise. This makes the W6174 especially well-suited for heavy nitrous oxide, turbocharged, and supercharged applications where standard OEM-style gaskets routinely fail.

Key Features:

• High-pressure multi-layer steel (MLS) laminate construction
• Internal embossments that expand with heat for a superior combustion seal
• Engineered to handle extreme shear forces between aluminum heads and iron blocks
• Ideal for forced induction and nitrous applications
• Note: Quantity 2 required per engine build

Wiseco is a trusted name in performance engine components, and the W6174 head gasket reflects their commitment to precision manufacturing and durability under race-level stress.
