Goodyear 767179673 Assurance WeatherReady 2 245/40R18 97V XL All-Weather Tire

The Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady 2 is a Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for drivers of compact cars, passenger sedans, and crossover SUVs looking for the smooth and quiet ride of a premium touring tire combined with the year-round confidence that comes from driving a vehicle equipped with all-weather tires, having met industry severe snow service requirements and qualifying for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) rating.

Advanced All-Weather Technology:

• Features a soybean oil derived compound molded into a directional tread pattern designed to maintain traction in all weather conditions
• AquaTred Technology and Evolving Traction Grooves improve safety on wet roads by channeling slush and water from under the footprint, reducing the chance of hydroplaning
• The tread pattern sports many biting edges to conquer winter roads with ease, while the all weather compound keeps the tire pliable in changing temperatures
• Built-in wear gauges make it easy to keep tabs on the tire's tread depth

Performance and Comfort:

• Multi-pitch sequencing takes advantage of small, regular variations in tread block size to dissipate road sounds
• Comfort inserts in the sidewall minimize the effect of bumps and vibrations, while the sturdy structure also helps mitigate vibrations
• The directional tread pattern ensures close road contact at all times, improving directional stability and steering
• The tire's internals use two layers of polyester plies surrounded by twin steel belts for the right blend of strength, rigidity and straight-line tracking, with a polyamide cap providing additional stability at highway speeds

Goodyear backs this tire with a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty, making it an excellent choice for drivers seeking year-round versatility with enhanced winter capability beyond standard all-season tires.
