Caliso FHH2672 Drum Brake Self-Adjusting Repair Kit

The Caliso FHH2672 is a drum brake self-adjusting repair kit designed to restore proper function to the drum brake self-adjuster mechanism. This kit provides all the critical components needed to maintain correct shoe-to-drum clearance, ensuring consistent, balanced braking performance and eliminating excessive brake pedal travel.

Drum brake hardware endures a harsh operating environment inside the brake drum, and over time heat and wear degrade the self-adjuster components. A worn or damaged self-adjuster is a common cause of brake noise, soft pedal feel, and uneven brake shoe wear. Replacing the self-adjuster hardware during a brake shoe service is considered best practice and helps ensure the job is done right the first time.

Key Features:

• Restores proper self-adjusting function to drum brake assemblies
• Maintains correct running clearance between brake shoes and drum
• Helps eliminate brake noise caused by misadjusted or failed hardware
• Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM standards for fit and function
• Recommended for replacement whenever brake shoes are serviced

Installing fresh self-adjuster hardware alongside new brake shoes is the most reliable way to ensure quiet, predictable stopping power and a firm brake pedal. Cross-references Carlson H2672.
