Caliso FHH2661 Rear Drum Brake Self-Adjusting Repair Kit

The Caliso FHH2661 is a rear drum brake self-adjusting repair kit engineered to restore proper function to the automatic adjuster mechanism in drum brake systems. The self-adjuster is a critical component that maintains the correct running clearance between the brake shoes and drum — when it wears out or fails, it can lead to excessive brake pedal travel, uneven braking, and accelerated shoe wear.

Key Features:

• Contains all critical components needed to replace the drum brake self-adjuster assembly
• Ensures adjustments occur at proper intervals to improve braking system life and performance
• Engineered to meet or exceed OE specifications for a proper fit and function
• Helps eliminate brake noise caused by worn or damaged brake hardware
• Restores proper shoe-to-drum clearance for balanced, predictable stopping performance
• Recommended for inspection and replacement whenever brake shoes are serviced

Drum brake hardware operates in a demanding environment — exposed to heat, moisture, and road debris every time the brakes are applied. Over time, the self-adjuster can corrode, seize, or wear to the point where it no longer functions correctly. Replacing the adjuster hardware as part of a complete brake job ensures the system continues to self-adjust as designed, preventing excessive pedal travel and premature wear.
