Caliso FHH2589 Drum Brake Self-Adjusting Repair Kit

The Caliso FHH2589 is a drum brake self-adjusting repair kit designed to restore the automatic adjustment mechanism in drum brake systems. When brake shoe linings wear over time, the self-adjuster mechanism keeps the shoes properly positioned relative to the drum — and this kit provides the hardware needed to repair or replace that mechanism when it becomes worn, corroded, or damaged.

Key Features:

• Restores the drum brake self-adjusting mechanism to proper function
• Includes the star wheel adjuster assembly and associated hardware components
• Designed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Helps maintain consistent brake pedal feel and stopping performance
• Addresses issues caused by worn threads, corroded star wheels, or damaged adjuster levers

A functioning self-adjuster is critical for consistent drum brake performance. As shoes wear, the adjuster automatically compensates to keep shoes close to the drum surface — preventing excessive pedal travel and uneven braking. The FHH2589 kit provides a reliable, direct-replacement solution for restoring this function during drum brake service or overhaul.
