Caliso FHH2587 Drum Brake Self-Adjusting Repair Kit

The Caliso FHH2587 is a drum brake self-adjusting repair kit designed to restore proper function to the self-adjusting mechanism in drum brake systems. A functioning self-adjuster is critical to maintaining the correct running clearance between the brake shoes and drum, ensuring consistent, balanced braking performance and preventing excessive brake pedal travel.

Key Features:

• Replaces worn, damaged, or corroded drum brake self-adjuster components
• Helps ensure brake shoe adjustments occur at proper intervals for optimal braking efficiency
• Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment standards and specifications
• Restores proper shoe-to-drum clearance to prevent low pedal feel and uneven braking
• Helps eliminate brake noise caused by loose or improperly secured brake hardware
• Contains the critical components needed to complete the self-adjuster repair

Over time, the self-adjusting mechanism in a drum brake can become worn or corroded — particularly around the star wheel threads — making it unable to reposition the brake shoes as they wear. The FHH2587 repair kit addresses this failure point directly, providing the hardware needed for a complete and reliable repair. Cross-references include HW2587 and H2587.
