Caliso BA02614 Primary SXL Wire 16 Gauge 100 Ft Black Cross-Link

The Caliso BA02614 is a 16 gauge, 100-foot spool of SXL cross-linked primary wire in black, engineered for demanding automotive and powersports electrical applications. SXL (cross-linked polyethylene) wire is the premium choice where standard GPT wire falls short — particularly in high-heat, high-abrasion environments like engine compartments.

Key Features:

• Gauge: 16 AWG primary wire
• Length: 100-foot spool
• Color: Black
• Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) — superior to standard PVC
• Temperature Rating: 125°C (257°F) — suitable for under-hood and engine compartment use
• Resistance: Resists abrasion, moisture, grease, oil, gasoline, and most acids and solvents
• Compliance: Meets SAE J1128 specification
• RoHS Compliant

This black 16 gauge SXL wire is ideal for automotive, motorcycle, marine, RV, and powersports wiring projects where heat and chemical resistance are critical. The cross-linked insulation provides a smooth surface finish and maintains flexibility across a wide temperature range, from cold starts to sustained high-heat operation.
