Caliso 6472S Remanufactured Premium Starter - Domestic

The Caliso 6472S is a remanufactured premium domestic starter engineered to meet or exceed original equipment (OE) specifications. Unlike a simple rebuilt unit, this starter undergoes a thorough remanufacturing process in which all components prone to wear are replaced with new parts, ensuring reliable starting performance every time.

Key Features:

• OE-Quality Terminals: High-temperature insulators keep connections secure and reliable
• 100% New Brushes: Worn brushes are the leading cause of starter failure — all brushes are replaced with new units for long life and optimal performance
• Precision-Machined Armatures & Commutators: Electronically tested for consistent starting performance
• New Bronze-Sintered Bushings: Copper and bronze-sintered, oil-impregnated armature support bushings for maximum wear resistance
• Drive Clutch Assembly: Fully dismantled and remanufactured, then sealed with high-temperature aerospace-quality lubricant for durability
• Solenoid Assembly: Completely disassembled and rebuilt with 100% new copper contacts, new terminal hardware, and high-temperature solenoid caps
• Blasted-Clean Housing: All mounting threads inspected and re-tapped for easy installation and consistent torque
• Inspected Bearings: High-temperature rated for extended service life

The 6472S remanufactured starter is built to provide a precise, drop-in fit and dependable operation. It is manufactured in an ISO/TS 16949 certified facility using Durability Testing, Root Cause Analysis, and Lean Manufacturing principles — delivering a quality level that a basic rebuilt starter simply cannot match.
