Speedmaster PCE291.1015 Harmonic Balancer 28oz External Balance SFI 18.1

The Speedmaster PCE291.1015 is an externally balanced harmonic balancer (also called a harmonic damper or crankshaft damper) for Ford small block 302 and 351 Windsor engines. It is SFI 18.1 rated and uses a 28 oz external balance.

External balance explained: An externally balanced damper has built-in weight or an offset in the casting. To identify your existing damper, check the backside, which is not visible while it is mounted on the engine. If there is no offset or weight in the casting, you have an internal (neutral) balance damper. If you see an offset or a weight, it is an external damper. Match the balance type to your engine's rotating assembly.
