Function and Features:

The draft inducer motor is a critical component in high-efficiency furnaces that pulls combustion gases through the heat exchanger and safely vents them outside. This motor is typically the first component to activate when your furnace calls for heat, creating the proper draft before ignition occurs. Designed to withstand flue gas temperatures and corrosive combustion byproducts, this OEM assembly meets original equipment specifications for reliable performance.

Installation Note: When replacing the draft inducer assembly, you may need to reuse the restrictor plate from your original assembly, which is positioned between the inducer and the furnace. Always replace the draft inducer gasket or use high-temperature silicone sealant to prevent exhaust gas leakage.
