The RADIUM Engineering FPD-XR (Fuel Pulse Damper - Extra Range) is designed to stabilize fuel pressure in high-performance EFI fuel systems. The opening and closing of fuel injectors creates pressure pulses in the fuel rail which can lead to unstable fuel pressure, making a fuel pulse damper often necessary to achieve safe and consistent rail pressure.

Key Features:

• V2 design allows the damper body to swivel 360 degrees even after tightening, permitting the vacuum port to be clocked to any desired position
• FPD-XR base pressure requirement: 40-105 psi static
• Screws directly into a female 8AN ORB port such as on a fuel rail
• Male fitting seals using a FKM O-ring
• Features vacuum/boost reference port for proper performance even at elevated fuel pressures
• Overall height: 2.26 inches
• Safe for use with all fuel types including alcohol blends such as E85

The FPD-XR features a black top and is designed for higher pressure applications compared to the shorter FPD-R with green top. For best results, mount directly onto the fuel rail. Not to be used on the low pressure side of mechanical fuel pumps or direct injection engines.
