SPI SM-09288A Dual Ring Piston Kit Teflon Coated Polaris Snowmobile

The SPI SM-09288A Dual Ring Piston Kit is a premium replacement piston assembly designed for Polaris snowmobiles. Built from a hypereutectic cast alloy, this piston offers superior strength and heat resistance compared to standard cast pistons, making it an ideal direct replacement for high-performance and everyday riding applications.

This kit features an advanced MoS2 (Molybdenum Disulfide) coating on the piston skirts, which actively draws heat through the piston walls and disperses it out the bottom of the piston. This thermal management technology reduces operating temperatures, minimizes friction, prevents cold seizures during startup, and extends the overall service life of the engine.

Key Features:

• Hypereutectic-cast piston — higher silicon content for improved strength and wear resistance
• MoS2 Teflon coating — reduces friction and heat buildup for added power and longevity
• Machined-smooth heads — optimized combustion chamber surface finish
• Hard-anodized crowns — enhanced durability and heat resistance at the piston crown
• Dual ring design — reliable sealing for consistent compression

Kit Includes:

• Piston
• Rings
• Wrist pin
• Circlips

The SPI SM-09288A is a complete piston kit solution engineered to restore or exceed OEM performance in compatible Polaris powerplant applications. SPI (Sports Parts Inc.) is a trusted supplier of snowmobile and powersports replacement parts.
