Delphi SS21626 ABS Wheel Speed Sensor

The Delphi SS21626 ABS Wheel Speed Sensor is an OE-quality sensor designed to accurately monitor wheel speed and rotation for optimal anti-lock brake system performance. This sensor plays a critical role in modern vehicle safety systems by providing real-time wheel speed data to the ABS control module, enabling precise brake modulation to prevent wheel lockup during hard braking.

Key Features:

• Digital signal technology for improved accuracy and stability, especially at low speeds
• Stainless steel housing for durability and long-lasting protection against environmental conditions
• Weather-resistant design with plated pins and weatherpack connectors to prevent corrosion and signal failure
• Engineered to OE specifications for direct fit installation with matching mounting points and connector designs
• Tested to meet or exceed original equipment standards for reliability in all driving conditions
• Breathable membrane filter and water seal for resistance against high temperatures, vibration, and water ingress

Delphi ABS sensors feature magneto-resistive or Hall effect technology that creates a digital square wave signal, improving signal-to-noise ratio and ensuring accurate readings even in harsh environments. The sensor works in conjunction with a reluctor wheel or tone ring to monitor wheel rotation and transmit data to the vehicle's ABS system, as well as other systems like traction control, stability control, and transmission control. With over 100 years of automotive experience, Delphi delivers precision-engineered sensors that ensure safe and reliable braking performance.
