EBC S1KR2030 Stage 1 Rear Brake Kit with Ultimax2 Pads and RK Rotors

The EBC S1KR2030 Stage 1 Rear Brake Kit is designed for drivers seeking reliable, daily-driver approved braking performance. This complete rear axle brake kit combines premium EBC Ultimax2 brake pads with black RK replacement rotors for superior stopping power and longevity.

Kit Includes:

• High-efficiency Ultimax2 brake pads built with aramid fiber for quick and quiet stopping
• RK rotors with thermic black Geomet anti-rust coating for corrosion resistance
• Brake caliper lubricant

Key Features:

• Patented Brake-in coating on pads for faster bedding during the first 100 miles
• Chamfered pad edges reduce contact against rotor lips and minimize squealing
• Rotors are fully balanced and run-out tested for smooth, vibration-free braking
• Direct OEM replacement sizing ensures perfect fitment without modification
• Premium iron rotors machined to exact specifications
• Low metallic compound reduces rotor wear by up to 50%

EBC recommends a 500-mile break-in period with lighter braking application for optimal performance. The thermic black coating on the rotors provides long-lasting rust resistance and will wear off naturally in the pad contact area during normal use. This kit offers an affordable upgrade over stock brakes while maintaining OEM compatibility and quiet operation.
