Gates PV385 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid

The Gates PV385 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid is an essential component of your vehicle's evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. This electronically controlled valve precisely regulates the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the engine intake manifold, where they are safely burned during normal combustion. By preventing fuel vapors from escaping into the atmosphere, this purge solenoid helps maintain proper emission controls and ensures your vehicle meets environmental standards.

Key Features:

• Constructed from high-quality materials engineered for durability and maximum service life
• Resistant to fuel vapors and extreme underhood temperature fluctuations
• Precisely controls the amount of fuel vapor purged from the charcoal canister
• Restores proper EVAP system operation and performance when replacing a failed unit
• Meets OE specifications for reliable emission control
• Direct replacement for worn or failed original equipment

A failed purge solenoid can trigger check engine lights, cause rough idle conditions, create hard starting issues after refueling, and result in failed emissions testing. Replacing a faulty purge valve with this Gates PV385 unit restores your EVAP system to proper working condition, eliminates diagnostic trouble codes, and helps maintain optimal engine performance and fuel economy.
