Transmission mounts are critical wear items that deteriorate over time, especially when exposed to heat and oil. Symptoms of a failing mount include excessive vibration, harsh shifting, clunking noises during acceleration or deceleration, and misalignment of shift linkage. Replacing worn mounts restores smooth operation and prevents further damage to drivetrain components.
