ACDelco 85044181 Auxiliary Water Pump Heater Hose

The ACDelco 85044181 is a GM Original Equipment heater hose designed for use with auxiliary water pump systems. This coolant hose is engineered to transport hot engine coolant between the auxiliary water pump and the vehicle's heater core, ensuring proper cabin heating and coolant circulation when the engine is off.

Key Features:

• GM Original Equipment part ensuring precise fit and function
• Durable rubber construction designed to withstand high temperatures and coolant exposure
• Engineered specifically for auxiliary water pump applications
• Manufactured to meet GM's strict quality and performance standards
• Direct replacement for original factory component

Auxiliary water pumps are electric pumps that continue to circulate coolant after the engine is shut off, helping maintain optimal engine temperature and providing heat to the cabin. This heater hose is a critical component in that system, connecting the pump to the heating circuit. When coolant hoses deteriorate, they can develop leaks, cracks, or soft spots that compromise the cooling system's integrity and lead to coolant loss or overheating.
