Dorman 87510 Conduct-Tite SXL Heat Resistant 14 Gauge Black Primary Wire

The Dorman 87510 is a 14 AWG SXL (Special Cross-Linked) heat-resistant primary wire from Dorman's Conduct-Tite line, engineered for demanding automotive electrical repairs and installations. Featuring a stranded bare copper conductor encased in Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, this wire delivers reliable conductivity and durability in environments where standard PVC-insulated wire falls short.

Key Features:

• SXL Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation provides heat resistance up to 125°C (257°F)
• 14 AWG stranded bare copper conductor for excellent conductivity and flexibility
• Thicker insulation than standard primary wire for enhanced protection
• Superior resistance to moisture, corrosion, grease, oil, and automotive fluids
• Remains flexible for easy stripping, trimming, and termination with standard electrical tools
• Meets SAE J1128 specifications for engine compartment use
• Black insulation color for easy circuit identification

Designed for high-heat environments such as engine bays, the Dorman 87510 SXL primary wire is ideal for electrical repairs, custom wiring installations, and accessory add-ons where ordinary wire cannot handle the thermal demands. Part of the trusted Conduct-Tite electrical components line by Dorman.
