Yukon Gear & Axle YTCOMPOUND-04 Marking Compound with Brush 25 Pack

The Yukon Gear & Axle YTCOMPOUND-04 marking compound is an essential tool for differential installation and gear setup. This professional-grade marking compound allows technicians to accurately check ring and pinion gear tooth contact patterns, ensuring proper backlash and gear mesh during installation.

Key Features:

• High-visibility marking compound makes gear patterns easy to read and interpret
• Each container includes compound and application brush for convenient use
• Bulk 25-pack contains 2 ml containers for a total of 50 ml of compound
• Ideal for professional shops performing multiple differential rebuilds
• Manufactured by Yukon Gear & Axle, a trusted name in drivetrain components

This marking compound is used by applying a thin coat to several teeth of the ring gear, then rotating the pinion through the ring gear to create a contact pattern. The pattern reveals whether the gear mesh needs adjustment, helping ensure quiet operation and long gear life. The 25-pack format is perfect for busy shops that regularly service differentials and need to keep this critical installation supply in stock.
