The Yukon Gear & Axle YDATLCF-488YZL is a complete, ready-to-install dropout assembly built for the Toyota 8" reverse rotation front differential. Assembled by expert Yukon technicians, this unit arrives fully shimmed and backlashed to factory specification — eliminating the time-consuming setup work typically associated with differential builds.

This assembly is upgraded with a Yukon Zip Locker, an air-operated selectable locker that lets you switch from an open differential to 100% lockup on demand. 15-15 The Zip Locker uses air pressure supplied to a bonded seal, which drives a clutch onto a splined gear, locking the spider gears and delivering a fully locked axle when you need it. With the flip of a switch, releasing air pressure allows a return spring to disengage the clutch, returning the differential to open operation for normal street or trail driving.

The locker features a forged nodular case and high-nickel 4320 Chromoly steel internals for exceptional strength and durability in demanding off-road conditions. A yoke is included, making this a truly bolt-in solution.
