Wells 2M1274 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid

The Wells 2M1274 is a direct-fit replacement Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid for the vehicle's evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. This solenoid valve takes fuel vapors stored in the vapor canister and routes them into the engine's intake stream, where they are burned in the combustion chamber rather than vented to the atmosphere.

The Engine Control Module (ECM) commands the solenoid to open and close based on operating conditions, precisely metering the flow of stored fuel vapors back into the engine. A failed purge solenoid can trigger a Check Engine Light, reduce fuel economy, and cause drivability issues.

Key Features:

• Engineered and tested to match OE parts in fit, form, and function
• Compatible with both domestic and imported vehicle applications
• Includes OE-style brackets, hardware, and electrical connectors where applicable
